Airsoft game organisers are always in search of abandoned buildings and facilities that can be used for airsoft events. But before they open any old building for use, they usually do safety checks to ensure that the facility is safe to use by airsoft players. If you are unsure of the building that you will be playing in and without any assurance from the game organiser, do not attempt to play unless there are safety precautions are in place and buildings structurally sound.
This video from Avalanche 7 shows an accident during a game at an abandoned complex in Taiwan... "The balcony we attempted to climb would have taken us directly to our enemy's left flank. It would allow us to quickly take out as many as we can for the rest of our team to advance.
The buildings were old and no one maintains them. When Andrew put his weight on the balcony, the wall collapsed. Hit my helmet & landed on his knees. He went to the hospitals afterwards luckily no bones were broken. But he does suffer from other injuries."
