It looks like GoPro will be reducing the number of products it will have available in the action camer market. Its share price is experiencing a slump, and at the entry level market, it is facing tough competition from cheap China-made action cameras. Accordingto Engadget, they will be focusing on the Hero4 Session, Silver and Black, with the Silver and Black more in the premium line of action cameras.
Looks competition is really heating up right now and will remain so for some time until there will be a market consolidation.
