DesertFox Airsoft's Hawaii Trip Vlog

We get to watch DesertFox Airsoft Vlog about his trip to the islands where we dreamed of going to someday... "VLOGs are whatever to me. It's cool letting people know what you're doing by talking straight into the camera. That gets monotonous sometimes because everyone is using the same shots over and over again. Any time anyone uses a drone, immediately everyone says 'copying Casey Neistat'.

I'll probably still do Vlogs, but I would much rather do videos like these that are just plain entertaining to watch (for some people, some of you may outright hate this video. Which is fine.) and has a tiny tiny tiny bit of art.

If you liked this video cool! If you didn't the jokes probably went over your head, but seriously if you didn't like it that's cool too."

DPReview Roundup: 4K Action Cameras

On the lookout for a 4K action camera to capture airsoft gameplay footage? Here is DPReview with their 2016 Roundup on 4K action cameras to help you make the decision... "Action cameras have come a long way since the very first GoPro hit the market in 2005 (it used 35mm film, if you can believe that.) They've increasingly shrunk in size, and video quality has improved dramatically with each new generation. Many offer rear LCDs (a rarity a few years ago), some are even waterproof/shockproof without the need for a case and certain models can even be used for live broadcast. All of them pair with dedicated apps.

Of course, there are a lot of action cameras available on the market, but there are far fewer capable of 4K video capture. This roundup takes a look specifically at several of the most popular 4K action camera models as well as some lesser known ones too."

Gun Gamers On IP Protection In Airsoft

Gun Gamers join in the debate on Intellectual Property (IP) in airsoft, in matters of trademark and trade dress as brought about by A&K's KRISS Vector AEG replica that may not be licensed from KRYTAC... "Today, E House talks about the developing case of the A&K 'Vector' AEG and the tools Krytac/Kriss Group can use legally, and with their distributors, to protect their intellectual property rights, and how and where those intellectual property rights apply. Hopefully you guys find this interesting, and being that I'm not a lawyer, if you are a lawyer or work with trademarks and patents, be sure to leave a comment below!

CORRECTIONS & UPDATES: A friend of mine in the industry contacted me after this video went up with a couple things they wanted to point out. First, Krytac has a branch in Taiwan, thus there's no way the A&K will be sold or distributed in Taiwan. Second, there is such a thing as global patents, trade dress, and trademarks, but it's unclear if that will stop the A&K from being made since Mainland China is traditionally such an intellectual property no man's land."

Hyperdouraku: Tokyo Marui AA-12 AES Review

Hyperdouraku finally gives his take on the Tokyo Marui AA-12 Automatic Electric Shotgun (AES), the first of its class in airsoft. He takes note that this was seen in the 2010 "Predators" movie though for us we saw better action of it in "The Expendables". Seen as a menace in the field with its 3 round shot on fully auto, add the 3000 round drum mag, and one can be really do much damage to an even larger opposing force with it.

Airsoft Station EMG Hellbreaker M4 AEG

A fully-licensed airsoft version of the Sharps Bros. Hellbreaker is now available at Airsoft Station and here is their video overview... "The EMG HELLBREAKER AEG is the officially licensed Sharps Bros. Airsoft rifle from EMG. The Sharps Bros. company was founded by passionate AR-15 enthusiasts who wanted to design unique, custom AR receivers that really made their weapons platforms stand out.

This high-end AEG is built around it's unique P-40 Warhawk style receiver, inspired by the iconic P-40 aircraft which saw widespread use in WWII. The nose-art from this fighter aircraft was milled into the customized billet-style receiver along with the officially licensed Sharps Bros. trademarks. Other externals for this high-end AEG also include it's monolithic 10in keymod & picatinny/weaver free-float rail system which provides more than enough rail space for all your aftermarket optics and accessories. The 10"om RIS variant of this rifle makes it ideal as an all-scenarios AEG, perfect for both indoors and field play. It's 380-420 FPS makes engagements at nearly all distances viable as well.

ARES Amoeba accessories are also included on this AEG are the Amoeba mutl-position LE style stock and rubberized motor grip. Other awesome externals include the CMC style Flat Trigger, oversized magazine release, QD rear sling mount loop, and flip up front and rear sights. Internals for the EMG HELLBREAKER include the ARES Version II Gearbox with it's famous built-in MOSFET & Electronic Programmable Trigger system which allows for burst fire in addition to standard firing modes."
