It looks like Legionitalia had a very bad experience with the Umarex/Ares Airsoft SL-9 Geabox. He claims he bought the AEG thrice, experiencing problems three times.. Well, better watch the video to learn more and make your own conclusions... "Clearly there is absolutely NO QC at Umarex, HK should REVOKE their licensing immediately, Avoid ALL of their products unless you enjoy spending extra money to repair a NEW airsoft. Obviously they didn't even test them, not even one BB. Now this isn't my first experience with Umarex and poor QC either, it's just the worst, and possibly the most expensive. I will be forwarding the link to both Umarex and HK, I'd love to hear their reasoning behind producing and licensing such garbage."

Tokyo Marui announce the official release date of their USP Gas Blowback Pistol, setting it on the 17th of January 2018. This is based on the USP Variant 1 Pistol which is double action/single action with the manual safety and decocking functionlever on the left only. Below are the features of the pistol with rough translation done with an online translation tool.

Major Features:

• Large caliber cylinder adoption: The cylinder which becomes 15 mm in diameter is filled with gas for launch & blow back. It realized stable fire performance and powerful blow back.
• Safety & decocking system: By operating the control lever, it is possible to lock the hammer in full cock (state in which it can fire), and it is also possible to return it from full cock to half cock to prevent accidents caused by falling.
• Reproduce the same operation as a realist: you can enjoy a single action that pulls a slide, raises a hammer and fires it, a double action that raises a hammer by pulling a trigger and a double action, two types of launch method.
• Metal extractor: The extractor on the right side of the slide is reproduced in separate parts. ※ It is a dummy simulating only the appearance.
• Undermount rail included: Underrail integrated with frame is original standard. By attaching the included undermount rail, it becomes possible to install a flashlight etc. corresponding to the Picatinny standard with a width of 20 mm.
• Ambi type magazine catch lever: Operation is possible from either the left or right.
• Die Cast Magazine: 25 magazines and a cold-resistant die-cast magazine are included.

The Airsoft Surgeon Costa Steel 4.25 inch M&P9 features a steel slide and outer barrel set, polymer frame, slide release and slide catch lever, a textured grip, and three different sized back straps in Black, it provides really nice gripping even for big hands. Complete with a unique serial number. It also has adjustable BLACK grips for smaller hands as well! The most unique aspect about the M&P9 is that it can fire in full auto as well!

It was built by Airsoft Surgeon and allows the VFC M&P9 (licensed by Cybergun) to shoot with a heavy, sluggish heft that doesn't feel bad at all. It's quite the opposite. One aspect that makes it extra special is the custom Costa slide.
